My son is pretty significantly addicted to Pokemon something at the moment. I bought these cards for his birthday and he loves them. There was actually a terrific wide variety (thinking about the webpage mentioned there could be dupes) - specifically for the low price tag. I do not pretty "get" the point of the card game myself, but my son enjoys playing with his close friends. As far as "educational value" - I do not consider this an educational game, so challenging to spot a rank on that. If you play the game the way it really is supposed to be played, even though, it in fact calls for rather a bit of reading and standard math (adding scores, and so on.) Can get fairly strategic, also. Overall especially happy with the procudt and transaction.
I assume that most men and women who order these know that usually if you obtain a pack of 5 of them wrapped in cellophane from Target or wherever that you are paying about a buck a card - ridiculous if you ask me - but my 6 year old loves them - and they are amazing rewards for him completing chores or homework. What you are ordering here are 100 new cards - not wrapped in cellophane - but they came in a genuinely good plastic carrying case - which I hadn't anticipated - and my son can not wait till he earns all 100 cards so he can have the case also. There are duplicates which I would anticipate - but for the price tag - about ten cents a card - oh properly - also don't count on as well several high value cards - but there are a couple of and as soon as again for the price I say oh nicely.
