Buyer Reviews

I bought Bubba the Bottom Feeder game just after reading the instructions on the back of the box. I grew up playing all kinds of inexpensive pool games in my grandma's pool, and most of them are some kind of ring toss game, or have you dive for particular items that are scattered across the bottom even though your siblings desperately try to cease you from getting that last one.
Bubba the Bottom Feeder was a bit several- it is set up like a -reverse- dive game. "Bubba" is a massive fish with large green weighted lips who sinks to the bottom of the pool. (His lips are also hinged, creating a nice carrying case for the other components of the game!) His body is created of a mesh net, likely for security factors- and so everything can dry rapidly when the game is more than. The game also comes with various adorable small round plastic fish, each one particular weighted slightly completely different and about the size of a ping pong ball. Most float on the surface, even though some sink slightly below.
The object is then to collect these little fish, a single at a time, and "feed" them to Bubba, resting on the bottom. Each and every fish he is fed causes him to get a tiny lighter-- till finally he eats "as well a lot" and floats to the surface, and the game can start out once again. The individual to feed him the fish that makes him float- wins. (I feel.)
It's by no suggests hours of entertaining, but it is a nice spin on dive games, and the notion of feeding a significant fish was nicely believed out (it would be considerably much less fun putting ping pong balls in an underwater net, for example)
The construction is fairly good for an affordable pool game as nicely- I only worry about Bubba's hinged lips breaking where the plastic gets pretty thin. Overall although this is a good tiny summer pool toy for the value, has a nice sense of humor (possibly teaches youngsters not to overfeed pet fish?) and is really enjoyable for youngsters.

My children LOVED this swim toy and it genuinely was helpful in practicing swimming below water. The ONLY issue was my eight year old carried Bubba back from the neighborhood pool by his tail whilst containing the smaller sized eight fish inside. Later that night when going to place the swim toys away we realized the mouth had come open and all of the fish had fallen out! Unfortunatly a search turned up none of the fish. I just wanted to hopefully save others from producing our mistake.
