I ordered this diary and the initial time my niece opened it (as I was watching) the lock broke - it by no means closed once more. This occurred on both diaries I purchased. Important disappointment. I love the notion of journals and diaries for youngsters - extremely valuable in quite a few approaches. But this product is not durable at all.
This was a gift for my 10 year old niece. She loved the diary. I feel it is a fun way to support children express their self and study inventive writing.
