Consumer Critiques

This is a outstanding toy, nicely made and it will allow kids to use their imagination and construct it in a quantity of diverse ways. The one particular drawback is the quantity of pieces, 542! The product is recommended for young children ages 8-14, I would without a doubt not buy this for an 8 year old. My virtually ten year old was particularly frustrated and my 13 year old and I had to finish up constructing the model. Undoubtedly for older kids. When constructed it is an awesome toy and entertaining for each my 9 and 13 year old sons, just count on to a lengthy evening playing and construction KRE-O if you are getting this for any individual 10 and beneath (unless they have an Einstein IQ and an equally extended focus span).

Initially off, I built both The Optimus Prime and the Semi-Truck, several times. I followed the instructions, but there was a couple of discrepancies with the pieces and fitting issues together. I was able to make it operate, but I doubt even an adept Lego creating teenager would've figured out a viable work-about as rapidly (several hours) as I did. Ahem.
I did not like the way the bricks were organized out of the box, but I really feel that way about ALL Lego sets, Mega Blocks kits in total. It could use some far better organization from the jump for the quantity of coin you drop on these. Big plastic bags make no sense.
The flexibility of the two models when built was also questionable as it was greater to just leave them there like Museum pieces to stare at versus moving them around as a few portions just wouldn't remain together.
I'm not a Lego purist and I do not bash on Mega Blocks for being inexpensive, as they've improved drastically in the last five -8 years that I've been creating with them, but Kreo requirements to fine-tune these sets a bit in my opinion.
I appreciate the worth you get with Lego's competitor sets, but I would just like to see improved "form-fitting" as they call it and "ease of develop."
It is tricky to please each and every one, I know but these transformers sets are unquestionably for the specialist builder who just aches for something Transformers.
I spent hours making this stuff and most of the time it wasn't considerably entertaining. Just saying.
