Consumer Critiques
The previous reviewer summed up the game properly. But, it really is necessary to note that the game is played by all players SIMULTANEOUSLY - which does get the pace picked up quite a bit. You have to be fairly quick in "slamming" a card down to produce your new word even though the other players are all attempting to do the same issue. Thus the 4-letter word is ever-changing. I saw the commercial for this game on Television and becoming from a family members that loves games about to head out on a family members vacation, went to Target exactly where I saw it for about $five. We played it with 4 adults, 3 adults and two adults and through every single of those scenarios, had a blast. It was enjoyable trying to stump each and every other with uncommon four-letter words. My mom has recommended it to various of her friends who have grandchildren. It's a good game for kids understanding to spell and to challenge their word skills. Warning: Just after various rounds of this game, you will get oneself on the lookout for 4-letter words all the time!
I have no notion why the Amazon price tag is so out of line with reality on this item. I bought this game at Target for less than $five.00.
It is entertaining to play and stimulates your brain somewhat, but not to the extent of the original Scrabble game. You can modify the rules and play it with younger players (we play it with our 4 year old).
Amazon also lists a bunch of choking hazard warnings with this item. Unless your kid can swallow a playing card there is no choking hazard that I can uncover.
It is worth $five.00 but not $16.00.
