My buddies invited me more than for Trivial Pursuit but we had burned out our 80s, 90s, and a number of Genus editions. I saw this 1 on Amazon and picked it up. We were not disappointed. We found the queries had a superior mix of both old a Very new (some about events within the final year) topics and subjects.
The new style of the pie wedges is great as nicely, so you do not have to hold the "pie crust" upside down in your hand to get the wedges out at the end of a game.
We did not use the timer, but it could unquestionably make for a faster game.
The only gripe we had was that the usual color of brown for the Literature queries has been replaced with purple and on the "wedge" spots on the board, purple and pink (Entertainment) looked a small to close in color.
But overall, I do not regret this acquire.

Kudos to Hasbro! I have been waiting for a new version of Trivial Pursuit with concerns that appeal to diverse generations and this game fits the bill.
I also am pleased that Hasbro continues to manufacture a high high quality game. Several instances toy corporations begin to cut corners by manufacturing flimsier and flimsier boards and game pieces. Hasbro makes use of the identical sturdy board and card boxes. They have redesigned the wedges so that the wedges cannot get stuck in the movers ("pies" to us). They also have included a timer if you are so inclined to use one. We have not employed the timer given that half the fun of this game is 1 team discussing the concerns and the other team rolling their eyes, complaining about how a lot time they are taking and remarking how anybody could answer the question with the time they are taking. Peer pressure commonly limits the discussion time. You get the image!
My only suggestion would be for Hasbro to redesign the timer so that one does not have to hunt down a phillips screw driver to install/transform the battery. That is just my individual preference though.
I would suggest this game to other individuals.
